This year's Curie Environmental Memorial Competition is back
The registration period closes on 8. November for the secondary school study competition focusing on the conservation of the Earth's wildlife and the reduction of the ecological footprint. It's not too late to apply!
Following the successes of 2022/2023, the Curie Education Development and Talent Support Public Benefit Foundation announced the Curie Environmental Memorial Competition for the 2023/2024 academic year in cooperation with the chemistry and environmental section of the Hungarian Talent Support Society and the Merlin House Talent Point. The multi-round competition will take place with the participation of teams of three students in grades 9-10 and 11-12, first with correspondence rounds, followed by the regional final in Komárno, and finally the final in Hungary on Earth Day in spring 2024.
Evergreen recycling Ltd. proudly stood by the initiative, as we consider it important as a responsible company that education for environmental awareness and the acquisition of sustainable thinking should be part of the everyday life of young people. We also act in this spirit when we welcome kindergarten and school groups at our site, presenting in a playful way the way of preserving the environment to which we contribute every day as waste processors. And we also support the eco-consciousness of future generations when we promote valuable initiatives like the above. Among other things, with clothing to enable them to appear uniformly in competitions, and with school supplies to give students all the tools they need to perform well.
We wish the participants of the competition successful preparation, exciting rounds, and a ranking as high as possible!
