Evergreen recycling offers complex waste management and waste trading services to waste processors and emitters, significantly contributing to environment protection.
History
Evergreen recycling Ltd. was established in 2011 in Dunaszerdahely (Slovakia) by three persons. The founder is the owner of the company, who disposes of decades of experience in waste management, acquired at multinational and other companies. Our goal was to offer waste emitters and waste processors professional services flexibly, with
up-to-date attitude, and using innovative technology, thus
contributing to the reduction of their additional costs.
At first, we dealt with paper- and plastic-waste trade. We purchased 4000-5000 tons of industrial waste and in-process refuse per month, we mainly bought high quality packaging waste from department stores and the printing branch. Most of the plastic waste consisted of foil waste from department stores. We selected, cleaned, classified, and finally passed on the waste to waste processing companies, which reprocessed
the bulk. In the first five years of our activity, we doubled the purchased waste amount year by year.
In the course of time, the need emerged to offer more complex
services to our partners, that is why we took up new waste materials from 2015: corrugated cardboard and mixed paper waste was added to our portfolio, which was a significant milestone in the history of our company.
Later on, the activity scope of our company was extended
by waste collection as another important stage; in autumn 2021, our waste collection site was launched in Egyházkarcsa near
Dunaszerdahely (Slovakia). With the revenue of our company growing, the number of our colleagues increased as well: Fifteen
persons work at our central office and at the waste collection site at present.
In the past 11 years, we have made business contacts with more than 220 companies.
Evergreen recycling offers environment friendly solutions for processing all paper types, 98.2 percent of the incoming waste is recycled.
Activity
Our company has gained large experience in waste industry by now. Up to now, we have managed to cope with all new challenges, so, we have become a significant actor of the East-Central European waste market by the present days. The main profile of our company is reusable waste – first of all paper-, plastic- and metal-waste – collection, transport, processing, preparation for recycling and transforming to secondary raw material for the production industry.
We operate our waste processing plant in Egyházkarcsa opened in 2021 with a new hangar, new machines, new trucks, and new containers. The turnover of the site amounts to 1000-1200 tons of waste per month, although, we move approximately 8000 tons of waste in a month, including transit transport.
With our 100-thousand-ton turnover, we are considered the strategic partner number one by several big European waste processing companies.
The scale of products processed by us is rather wide. Within that, we deal with two main waste types, with paper and plastic. As for paper waste, we select different paper types, because some waste utilizing companies produce different products with different methods from the waste prepared by us.
Concerning plastic, we handle waste types from the packaging industry and technology where high-level expertise is needed, as different mineral oil derivatives (PE, PP, ABS, PA etc.) are to be separated and managed.
We contribute to the reduction of the environmental stress of our Earth not only by waste management but also by the sustainable operation of our company and by expanding the knowledge of the population regarding waste management.
Philosophy
As a key actor of recycling economy, we wish to achieve that the least part of emitted waste end up in landfills, instead, an ever bigger amount be recycled. Considering sustainability, we serve as a bridge, at the same time, we keep in mind that the dynamic development of our company should not burden
the environment. Thus, we pay special attention to the process of waste management: We perform
waste collection with a car park meeting the highest emission norms, so as to emit the least possible amount of greenhouse gas. The whole activity of evergreen recycling contributes to waste recycling, and thus to environment protection.
Our company forwards several hundred thousand tons of paper to recycling, and takes part in numerous tree-planting projects in the Slovakian woods.

Education
We educate people to be environment conscious. evergreen recycling forwards 98.2 percent of the collected and sorted waste to processors to recycle. We are proud of our activity, so we demonstrate to everyday people too why it is important to sort and expertly collect waste. At our site, we occasionally accept and guide school-groups. We demonstrate to the future generations in a tactile way what happens to the waste they produce at home and put into selective collectors. Upon need, anyone may visit us to watch what happens to waste in the work steps after collection, and to understand why our work is important in preserving the soundness of our planet.
We are reliable and motivated.
Our company has stable financial funding, our liquidity is high. Our results prove that our market conduct is correct. Our colleagues understand and are fond of their profession, are dedicated in their work, not only for evergreen recycling but for the protection of our environment as well.
We are wary and accurate.
There are no unpleasant surprises at our company. We have to cope with numerous strict regulations at waste collection, its administration, and at transport depending on different countries. evergreen recycling manages all processes spotlessly because we have always been growing to the extent to which we are able to manage new legal obligations bound to expansion. This responsible approach is also proved by the ever-growing number of our partners.
We are flexible and versatile.
We accept and sell numerous waste-types, and we are open to innovation not only in the field of waste types, but in the field of services as well. The companies cooperating with us come up with various waste transport needs, however we can adapt to weekly, daily, or even more frequently scheduled transportation as well, striving at more complex and effective waste management services.
